Reviews and Ratings
I wasn't sure what to expect in the countryside, but this hotel exceeded my expectations. The rooms were very clean and comfortable, with great layout and all the facilities I needed. The friendly staff were attentive without being intrusive. The location, though a bit out of the way, was perfect for my plans, and the dining experience, although limited, was decent. The lack of outdoor and indoor communal spaces was a downside, but the overall value for money was good.
Arriving at 6 pm, the hotel revealed a lovely view from the well-appointed room, although there was a slight musty smell. The staff, while friendly and helpful, initially quoted a higher rate and neglected to salt common areas, which became hazardous. The location offered proximity to local attractions, but lacked safe outdoor spaces. Dining was limited in hours and adjacent to the hotel restaurant, costing £7.95. Overall, a decent stay with some areas for improvement.
